West Bengal's sustainable Farmers' producer company since 2020
Serampore-Uttarpara Agro Producer Company Limited(SUAPCL), office in Baidyabati, Hooghly, West Bengal is the first FPO in the block owned by the farmers. We serve more than 850 primary producer members in West Bengal.
SUAPCL was founded in the year 2020 and incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 (18 of 2013) and the company is limited by shares. The company is emboldened to take on the challenges to assist the member farmers in the production and marketing of farmers’ agri-allied products. At the end of 2022, SUAPCL formed several small FIGs (farmers interested groups) in the block from several villages like Uttar Rajyadharpur, Champsara, Chawk, Mollaber, Bangihati, Basai, Belu, Milkey etc. We formed a total of 49 FIGs on the basis of agricultural practices, they also trained through SUAPCL in different agricultural practices on the basis of suitability and geographical capacity.

Formed in the year 2020 and incorporated under the companies act of 2013 (18 of 2013).
The company’s (SUAPCL) office is in Baidyabati, Hooghly, West Bengal. SUAPCL owned and run by the farmers, it was set up to embolden the farmers to take on the challenges of production, procurement, processing, and marketing of agricultural products and goods. The company aims to cut out the middleman and hence ensures that the farmers benefit the maximum in the end pricing of their agricultural products. SUAPCL is registered with the West Bengal Agricultural Marketing Department as well as the e-Nam (electronic-National agriculture market) platform.
